Lady Gaga sued over cancelled gig in Indonesia
LADY Gaga is being sued for thousands of dollars after cancelling a concert in Indonesia last year, according to reports.
The Born This Way star is facing legal action from show promoters who want their £50,000 losses reimbursed.
Pop queen Gaga, 26, pulled out of the Jakarta show on June 3 after fundamentalist protesters threatened to intercept her arrival in the country.
The US star was accused of spreading "satanic teaching" by Islamic hardliners.
And she cancelled the rest of the tour last month after being struck down with joint inflammation at a cost of £17million.
Show promoters in Indonesia have filed a lawsuit in California federal court against the star's insurers Lloyds of London.
They claim the firm failed to make good on a policy covering losses for gigs cancelled due to "the sole and direct result of terrorism and/or sabotage or threat."
And believe the insurers are denying coverage "based on language and purported conditions that are not contained in The Terrorism Policies."
