Gemma Collins and Billie Faiers take up aqua aerobics to shape up for annual Marbella trip

A new day, a new exercise fad for Gemma Collins as she takes up aqua aerobics to shape up for summer with Billie Faiers.

The TOWIE stars' watery activities are part of Gemma's new pre-Marbella diet club whose members also include her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent and Billie's sister Sam.

The foursome jump in a pool to splash around in Wednesday night's episode.

With the help of an instructor, the Essex girls and boy get shown a wave-making routine inspired by global dance fitness craze Zumba.

Gemma, Billie, Sam and Arg all want to be in tip top condition before their annual partying trip to the south of Spain.

And according to their club-master, 'the first rule of diet club is don't eat crisps'.

Gemma, 31, has launched her own plus size fashion collection, so her mission to lose weight could send out a mixed message.

And the bubbly TOWIE star has also been sending messages to Josie Gibson after her dramatic weight loss.

A source told Now magazine that,'Gem thinks Josie looks absolutely incredible and she was a size 20 to begin with, just like Gemma is now.'

'As much as Gemma hates working out, she is really up for the challenge this time.'

Clearly aqua aerobics was the first stop on the circuit to shed some pounds, and luckily close friends Billie, Sam and even her ex Arg showed their support by joining her club.

But the younger Faiers sister may have had an ulterior motive for participating in the watery fitness session.

In the last episode, Sam put on a dinner party for Jess Wright and Ricky Rayment in a bid to get Arg and Gemma back together.

And when the crooner turned up with uninvited guest Jasmine Walia on his arm, that didn't stop the glamour model from playing match-maker.

Sam spent the rest of the night making awkward comments about Arg's leering eyes at Gemma's ample chest.
