Russell Brand 'paedo' joke with movie hunk

RUSSELL Brand hit back at a guest on his US talk show who joked that he and lots of other British TV hosts were paedophiles.

Movie hunk Dermot Mulroney made the quip as Brand discussed the Jimmy Savile sex scandal.

The funnyman said: "In my country we used to have a show called Jim'll Fix It. Now that show had to be banned because the man who ran that show turned out to be a gargantuan paedophile."

Mulroney, 49, who stars with Nicole Kidman in new thriller Stoker, said: "That seems to be happening with a lot of the British television hosts."

Brand, 37, fired back: "What are you suggesting? I only have sex with adult human females — as often as possible."
