Most blogged artists: Crystal Castles release new video, Crocodiles drop new single

Toronto-based electronic duo Crystal Castles are back in The Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart with the release of a video from their 2010 self-titled album, while news circulates about their upcoming album. Also, San Diego noise pop band Crocodiles enters the top ten with a new track.

Crystal Castles are set to release their third album, recorded in Warsaw, this June through Fiction Records. In recent days, the pair released a video for the track "Suffocation" that is directed by one-half of the duo Ethan Kath in collaboration with Vs. Magazine. "The other half of the duo, Alice Glass, flaunts an idiosyncratic fashion sense over grainy footage and an abandoned mansion, at one moment appearing as if she's dressed for Gaga's funeral and at another appearing as a hospital patient," writes blogger Obscure Sound.

Crocodiles will release their new album, Endless Flowers, June 5 via Frenchkiss Records, a follow-up to 2010's Sleep Forever. The band released the track "Sunday (Psychic Conversation #9)" -- "a propulsive, clanging rock number," writes blogger Rcrd Lbl.
