It was arguably the most popular television show of the nineties and, until recently, was repeated every day on the small screen.
But now Jennifer Aniston has come forward and said that while she wouldn't say no to a big-screen adaptation of Friends, she thinks a movie version 'doesn't make sense'.
The 43-year-old actress, who became a worldwide star playing Rachel Green in the hit sitcom from 1994 to 2004, said she doesn't see how a film of the programme would work.
'It doesn't make sense': Jennifer Aniston said she doesn't think a film adaptation of hit 90s TV show Friends would work
Speaking about the show - which also starred Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt Le Blanc and Matthew Perry - Jennifer said: 'I can't imagine how you would do it, unless you did it years from now. I can't imagine what that would be. It's not normal.

'Friends is in your living room - Friends is not in a movie theatre. It doesn't make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self.'
Jennifer also said that if Friends was still going, her character Rachel and David's character Ross would '100 per cent' still be together.
She added in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter: 'They're absolutely, 100 per cent together. They have more kids!
'He's probably still working, and hopefully they're still hanging out somewhere. It would be really upsetting if they weren't - it would bum me out.'
As well as becoming famous for her comedy timing on Friends, Jennifer also became a household name due to her 'Rachel' shag haircut.
But Jennifer said becoming famous for her locks was a big surprise.
She said: 'My hair has never been my greatest feature, so that was funny enough unto itself that my hair became so focused on.
'I have curly, uncontrollable hair! I didn't love that cut; it was a haircut to clean up damaged hair. I'm really a long-hair kind of girl.'
'I didn't love that cut': Jennifer added that she wasn't a fan of the short Rachel cut she became famous for, saying she's a 'long-hair kind of girl'
