The Help stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer slip into snowy frocks for pre-Oscars bash

Stars gracing the red carpet at the annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon opted for a monochrome palette.
And the cast of The Help, each dressed in white, were on hand at the annual pre-Oscars bash to celebrate their success ahead of Sunday's awards show.
Emma Stone looked lovely in lace as she donned a flirty frock that cinched in at her waist and boasted a cut-out back.

The 23-year-old star teamed her sweet dress with nude peep toe pumps and swept a portion of her flame red locks into an updo to complete her angelic look.
She was joined by her co-stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer, both of whom are nominated for gongs at Sunday's ceremony thanks to their respective roles in the drama film, based on the book of the same name.
Viola, 46, who is up for the Best Actress Oscar, wore a simple and classic white dress that had long sleeves and fell to her knees.

Octavia, 39, wore a white shirt with a black patent belt around her waist.
The Best Supporting actress nominee spiced up her outfit with a grey leopard print pencil skirt and plum coloured sandals.
The fifth annual event, which took place in Beverly Hills today, also honoured Jumping the Broom star Paula Patton.
And the 36-year-old actress looked suitably glamorous for her special appearance, wearing a form-fitting white dress that showed off a lot of cleavage.

Standing out from the crowd: Kelly Rowland shimmered in a silver and gold tiger print dress
She matched silver detailing on the bust of the dress with a pair of pointed court shoes and topped off her look with ruby red lipstick.
Meanwhile Kelly Rowland, 31, broke out from the monochrome tones sported by most of the other celebrities on the red carpet, shimmering in a silver and gold tiger print dress with a slight split up the front.
Ray star Kerry Washington, 35, decided to offset her conservative white peplum dress with patent scarlet pumps and matching lipstick, adding a further colour pop in the form of a rainbow striped clutch bag.

Singer Jordin Sparks, 22, wore a glittering black minidress, while 48-year-old Jennifer Beals opted for an interesting black garment with red and silver detailing.
Grey's Anatomy stars Chandra Wilson, Jesse Williams and James Pickens, Jr. all graced the red carpet at the luncheon and posed together for photographers.
Chandra, 42, wore a Grecian Flapper inspired silver frock, keeping to the 1920s theme by curling her brunette locks.
Meanwhile 57-year-old James wore a metallic bronze suit and hunky Jesse, 30, opted for a dapper blue number.
The creator of their hit show, 42-year-old Shonda Rhimes, was also in attendance at the star-studded event, as was Larry Crowne actress Pam Grier, 62.
