The fashion designer-turned-model shared the tender moment with the two-year-old as they enjoy a break in Barbados.
Kai appeared eager to move further into the sea, pulling his mum along.
Coleen, clad in a pretty sun dress, was happy to oblige and took a mini dip.
Afterwards adorable Kai was seen lifting his top up, perhaps wanting to protect it from his wet shorts.
The pair have left dad Wayne at home as he is involved in Manchester United's game against Norwich tomorrow.
Hopefully he is fighting fit after missing out on his side's defeat to Ajax last Thursday.
