Finally heading into the studio with Cheryl? Rihanna extends her stay in London fuelling rumours of a duet with Miss Cole

She came over for the Brit Awards a week ago and apart from a couple of press interviews, has not had anything urgent to attend to in the UK.

So Rihanna still in London a week after the awards took place has fuelled rumours she is here to record a duet with Cheryl Cole.

Mutterings that were boosted even further when she was seen heading into a recording studio today.

The star was snapped arriving at the studio in east London, just a month after it was reported that she would duet with the Girls Aloud star.

She posed with fans and looked very casual in her low-hung jeans, ripped Union Jack long-sleeved T-shirt and sunglasses.

Last October, Cheryl told the Daily Mirror that a collaboration between her and the We Found Love star would be happening this year.

She said: ''I couldn't believe it when I heard Rihanna wanted to work with me.

'When I found out she wanted to collaborate, I got goose bumps all over. We're definitely doing something together next year. I'm totally up for it.'

And apparently, Rihanna wanted to team up with Cheryl after branding her 'the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.'

This week, Rihanna will make an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show to talk about her upcoming movie debut.

She spoke to the Sun today about her new film Battleship in which she plays a weapons specialist alongside Liam Neeson and said it has left her hungry to do more movies.

She said: 'I want to do comedy, maybe a romantic comedy. I want to try being more vulnerable, but I want to try different things. I don't want to stick to one type of role.'
