Adam Sandler gets 11 Razzie nods - awards for bad films
The Golden Raspberry Awards shortlist was announced yesterday ahead of tonight's Oscars ceremony,
It gives the star nods for three of his recent film disasters: critically-panned flicks Bucky Larson, Just Go With It, and Jack And Jill.
Cross-dressing comedy Jack And Jill, in which Sandler plays two characters, landed a massive 12 nominations overall.
The comedian has even managed the remarkable feat of being up for Worst Actor AND Worst Actress for his dual roles.
And even Oscar-winner Al Pacino wasn't spared, earning a Worst Supporting Actor nod for playing himself in Sander's comedy.
Sandler's huge haul smashes the previous record of five nominations for Eddie Murphy's 2007 comedy Norbit.
Brit comic Russell Brand is also up for Worst Actor for his remake of Dudley Moore classic Arthur.
Winners rarely turn up to collect their awards, although Sandra Bullock did make an appearance last year after bagging a gong for her flop All About Steve.
Last year's big Razzie winner was martial arts flick The Last Airbender, taking Worst Movie, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Supporting Actor.
