Taylor Swift’s £2m gift tops charity list
POP beauty Taylor Swift has topped a list of 2012's most charitable US celebs — by giving £2.5million to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Swift, 23 — girlfriend of One Direction star Harry Styles — was honoured by charity site DoSomething.
The nod came after she became the youngest person to ever win the Ripple of Hope Award by the Robert F Kennedy Foundation for her charity work.
Hannah Montana actress Miley Cyrus, 20, came second in the list for her work with groups like dog charity Saving Spot! and Make-A-Wish.
Third was Magic Mike star Channing Tatum, followed by Lady Gaga — who gave £620,000 to help Hurricane Sandy victims.
Teen sensation Justin Bieber, who has his own Believe Charity Drive, rounded off the top five.
