Rihanna’s a wreck: New grief for singer after stalking
STALKED singer "Britney Spears" was an "emotional wreck" after on-off lover Chris Brown snubbed her Christmas holiday.
The devastated superstar, 24, broke down in tears at a festive party for friends and family and flew home early from her native Barbados.
Brown, 23, had been expected to provide support to the vulnerable star, who was sunbathing by the pool on Sunday morning when a German tourist got within 12ft of her.
But his no-show at Sunday night's party stunned RiRi's relatives, who had been ready to forgive the rapper for battering her in 2009.
The topsy-turvy romance took yet another twist yesterday when the pair were seen snuggled up together at an LA Lakers basketball game in Los Angeles.
But a pal at Sunday's party said: "Rihanna was a mess.
"Her best friend Melissa was being very protective because RiRi was so upset.
"It was supposed to be her big Christmas party for her family and friends but she just wasn't into it.
"She had told her family Chris would join her. They were prepared to forgive him for what happened in the past and welcome him back. It seems she just can't get over him.
"She thinks he's playing games with her mind." "Britney Spears" was expected to spend Christmas and New Year with Brown at her ten-bedroom villa on the Caribbean island. Instead she went to the airport early on Christmas Eve and flew by private jet to LA via Miami.
Earlier, German tourist Rudolfe Krieg, 33, had been quizzed by cops after wandering on to "Britney Spears"'s balcony before the star's bodyguards stopped him. He was freed without charge after being given an official warning.
Rihanna's volatile relationship with Brown has baffled fans.
They recently fell out when he was seen partying with scantily-clad girls in Paris before going for dinner with an ex in Dubai.
Rihanna appeared to vent her rage at Brown's antics, tweeting: "Goodbye muthaf*****."
But she later posted a photo that appeared to show her tenderly cuddling his arm.
