Khloe Kardashian's joy over Kim and Kanye pregnancy tinged with sadness after her own baby heartbreak

It's no secret that she's been trying to get pregnant ever since tying the knot with husband Lamar Odom.

And while she has tweeted her joy over news that sister Kim has fallen pregnant with boyfriend Kanye West's child, Khloe Kardashian could be forgiven for feeling a little sadness after her own very public struggle to conceive.

While the 28-year-old was ecstatic at the prospect of a new addition to her famous family, many of her fans posted messages sympathetic to the reality star who has been struggling to start a family with her husband of three years.

The reality star, who has spoken publicly about her desire to have a baby and her struggle to fall pregnant, put her own heartbreak aside as she wrote on Twitter:

'Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!!.'

She later retweeted a post by her husband Lamar, who alluded to the couple's own problems conceiving:

'@RealLamarOdom: I'm excited for Kanye and my sister! There's nothing like bringing life into this world! Let's keep Gods blessings coming!'

But while the whole family have got behind Kim and Kanye, expressing their excitement about the forthcoming birth, there has been an outpouring of support for Khloe on the social networking site.

Fans of the X Factor USA presenter sent her their best wishes and prayers that she would fall pregnant soon as well.

'Awhh @KimKardashian is pregnant, will be so beautiful #kimye really want @KhloeKardashian to get her wee baby now:'),' wrote one fan.

'I feel sorry for khloe kardashian though. Kourtney has two kids and kim is pregnant...then there's khloe. this is so awkward,' (sic) wrote another.

'I truly hope Khloè Kardashian gets pregnant, she's been trying for so long. She's the one who deserves it most,' another tweet said.

Another tweeted the fact that it wasn't fair that Kim was pregnant and not Khloe:

'I hate that Khloe Kardashian is happily married and trying for a child, and has to witness her two sisters pregnant, more than once...,' they wrote.

'DEAR GOD, PLEASE GIVE KHLOE KARDASHIAN A BABY. SERIOUSLY, SHE DESERVES IT,' wrote another user.

'The only Kardashian that should be pregnant is @KhloeKardashian. She is the one who is married has a stable life and husband. Not Kim! Ugh!,' said one post.

Khloe first spoke out about her struggle to conceive last year, telling Us Magazine: 'If it happens, it happens. It takes time, I guess... I don't know what the problem is.'

According to reports the businesswoman started fertility treatment in the summer, but put it on hold when she landed the job hosting Simon Cowell's talent show.

Speaking last year, she said: 'People keep saying, "Why aren't you pregnant yet?'

'That's what scares me, when people are like, "Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything's working? It's nerve-racking. Sometimes I feel like I'm letting everyone down,' she said.

Kanye West, who has been dating Kim for eight months, announced the pregnancy during an Atlantic City concert on Sunday.
