MARTINE McCUTCHEON'S telly comeback ends in tears – after she is crushed to death by a giant CHEESE.

The former EastEnders star makes a guest appearance in the new series of Midsomer Murders.

She plays single mum Debbie Moffett, who works in the local dairy and dies in suspicious circumstances.

Martine said: "I'm a troublemaker in the episode.

"My character is well-to-do and feisty — she's not Tiffany from EastEnders and is not a nice piece of work."

The new series of Midsomer Murders, starring Neil Dudgeon as DCI Barnaby and Jason Hughes as DS Ben Jones, returns tomorrow on ITV1 at 8pm.

Martine appears in the third episode on January 16.
