X Factor wannabe Rylan Clark revelas vicious homophobic bullying which left him with fractured skull

X FACTOR star Rylan Clark suffered vicious homophobic bullying as a chubby, ginger teen — and one attack left him with a fractured SKULL.

The Essex wannabe — who sang Des'Ree's Kissing You on last night's show — is now a male model.

But the image change has come at a price. Rylan, 23, spends most of his wages on Botox, fake tan and make-up these days.

He said: "I was the fat, ginger kid at school. The bullying was bad. It affected my education.

"I got pulled off a swing and some boy kicked me in the head and fractured my skull. I was in hospital. It was homophobic bullying."

Rylan still gets abuse in the street and accepts the bullying has left him worried about his looks. He says he'd rather have make-up than food.

He said: "I am really obsessed with my image. I've had Botox and had my lips done. I probably spend two thirds of my wages on cosmetics."

Rylan added: "I won't stop until I am the perfect man. I'm working as hard on my voice as my image now."
