TLC has premiered “Abby & Brittany,” a new docuseries following conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel. The girls are set to graduate with masters degrees in education, and discussed the challenges they’ll face in the professional world.

“Obviously right away we understand that we’re gonna get one salary, because we’re doing the job of one person. As, maybe, experience comes in we’d like to maybe negotiate a little bit, considering we have two degrees and, because, we are able to give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways.”

The twins said that, while they’re conjoined, they can still do two things at once. For example, Abby could be teaching while Brittany monitors the classroom.

The Huffington Post explains the girls have distinct personalities, even though they share most of their body.

“The two have separate hearts, lungs and stomachs, among other organs, but share the same liver. They also share two arms and two legs. Each twin is responsible for one side of the body, which means they have learned to coordinate movements subconsciously.”

The premiere piqued viewer interest -- getting the show trending on Twitter.

And a writer for the New York Daily News hopes viewers will move beyond the initial curiosity and stick with the inspirational show, writing …

“As episodes pass, that [curiosity] will very likely turn to admiration.”
