Azealia Banks leads the female charge at Reading Festival
AZEALIA Banks gave Reading Festival some much-needed sex appeal this weekend.
Dressed in tiny, high-waisted hot pants and a fluorescent bralet, the 212 singer turned the raunch factor up to 11.
The New Yorker, just 21, performed tracks including Liquorice and Van Vogue to a packed - and decidedly sweaty - Dance Stage at the three-day event.
She joined a gaggle of other female stars rocking out at the traditionally male-dominated bash.
Katy B also performed a pulsating set on the Dance Stage - making fans the focal point of her set by inviting a boozed-up punter to join her on stage.
And Florence Welch thrilled as ever on the Main Stage.
The Florence And The Machine singer got the Reading crowd to have a mass hug after saying she would play a "romantic" set.
She reckons playing to big crowds is like an exorcism.
She added: "During the songs you transcend yourself. I find it's really cathartic – almost like an exorcism."
Somebody could do with exorcising Fearne Cotton of her style demons.
The Radio 1 DJ wore a decidedly nasty faux fur coat to ward off the chill at the Berkshire bash.
She teamed the furry horror with a tea dress from her own collection and sensible lace-up boots.
The weather has been mixed throughout the weekend - but music fans didn't seem to care.
Decked in wellies the girls in particular have got into the party spirit - crowd surfing and moshing with the best of them.
Headliners at the sold-out event include The Cure, Kasabian and Bombay Bicycle Club.
American rock idols the Foo Fighters are excepted to close the festival in grand head-banging style later tonight.
