X Factor 2011: Cher Lloyd to perform “With Ur Love” on tonight’s results show

Cher Lloyd will make her triumphant return to the X Factor this evening.

The Malvern born singer finished fourth on last year’s series of the show and was later signed to Simon Cowell’s record label SYCO. She recorded her debut album ‘Sticks and Stones’ in America, with her former vocal coach Savan Kotecha and in the process collaborated with stars such as Red One, Mike Posner, Busta Rhymes and Dot Rotten.

Tonight, she will perform her second single from the album ‘With Ur Love’, which was released earlier today. The track features American singer Mike Posner and Lloyd has previously admitted that she is hoping it charts as well as her debut release ‘Swagger Jagger,’ which topped the UK single charts earlier this year.

Lloyd revealed this weekend that she is ‘nervous’ but ‘excited’ about her big return on tonight’s X Factor results show, but it must be made easier by the fact that her record label boss Simon Cowell is no longer on the judging panel and won’t be watching her every move from just a few metres away.

Do you think Cher will do herself proud tonight? Will she be any better than the current X Factor contestants?

'X Factor': Louis Walsh to axe Tulisa for Cheryl Cole? - Digital Spy

Louis Walsh is reportedly considering replacing Tulisa Contostavlos with Cheryl Cole on The X Factor afterSimon Cowell allowed him to refresh the panel.

Cowell is said to have tasked the veteran judge with reversing the show's "disastrous" ratings crash, apparently giving him 48 hours to decide if Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland or Gary Barlow will be axed.

"Simon will do anything to turn the show around," a source told The Mirror. "It's no coincidence that as soon as the new team came in the viewers fell off. He thinks the only way to save he show is to get rid of some of the panel.

"Louis and Simon are best friends. Louis is his eyes and ears in the show, Simon's man on the ground, so he is the best-placed person to decide who gets the chop."

Cheryl Cole

Cowell has told Walsh not to worry about the potential fallout of bringing back Cole, and assured the Irish manager that he would "rather scrap the whole show" than fire him.

"Louis is a businessman," the insider added. "If he thinks Cheryl will get the ratings back up he'll tell Simon to give Tulisa the chop, no matter how good friends they are.

"Cheryl was loved by the public in a way no other judge ever has been, before or since. Her comeback would guarantee a massive ratings boost."

A spokesperson for Roland dismissed suggestions that she has decided to quit The X Factor over her feud with Contostavlos.

Cher Lloyd: 'I'm scared of failing in America'

The 'Swagger Jagger' singer has long been interested in targeting the US music industry, but is plagued with concerns about whether her music "will work" stateside.

"America is something I'm going to do," she told The Sunday Mirror. "But I want to do well out there. I've got big dreams. Even though I've achieved [success in the UK], there's so much more I want to do.

"America is such a big thing to try and do. If I did try and do it I don't want to be rejected. I want to be the one to succeed and make it work. I'm no Robbie Williams."

However, Lloyd stated that she would never compromise her musical beliefs in order to achieve success, even if her mentor Simon Cowell insisted on making changes.

"I would have told Simon or whoever to p**s off if they handed me 20 songs and said sing them for this album," she said. "No way would I have done that."

Lloyd's debut album Sticks & Stones is due for release in the UK on November 7.

The record's second single 'With Ur Love' will be made available after Lloyd performs the track on The X Factortonight (October 30). Watch Cher Lloyd in the video for 'With Ur Love' below:
