Diva Battles: Lady Gaga vs. PETA, Adele vs. Vocal Cords, Nicki Minaj vs. Her Maid

Divas have it hard, don’t they? There are so many battles to fight. Here are three of music’s biggest divas and the hardships they face:
PETA India Asks Lady Gaga to Wear Lettuce Dress
While on her upcoming trip to India this weekend, PETA India has encouraged Lady Gaga to withhold from meat and try vegetarianism. They also want her to pose in a garment of lettuce.
“If she agrees, we’ll make her a dress entirely of lettuce and held together by pins and threads. It will be a full length gown, and we’ll make sure it looks sexy,” said Sachin Bangera of PETA India.
The dress would need to be created leaf by leaf on Gaga’s body.
“Someone will be on hand to spray the lettuce with water so that it doesn’t wilt,” Bangera added.
Gaga will visit New Delhi for the unveiling of the country’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix race. On Sunday, she will attend an invitation-only concert at one of the city's five-star hotels. Currently, she has not publicly accepted or denied the animal activists’ requests.
Adele Continues to Fight Vocal Issues
This one is actually serious, and we are concerned as well: Adele, the bestselling artist of 2011, has canceled the second leg of her U.S. tour due to extensive vocal problems.
“If I continue to pick up everything before I have properly conquered these problems and nipped them in the bud, I will be totally and utterly fucked,” she wrote on her website. “Singing is literally my life, it’s my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever.”
Adele, 23, has experienced numerous throat afflictions and is suffering a hemorrhage on her vocal chords. It is possible she may need throat surgery like Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler underwent in 2006 (no, not his recent dental work). The soul singer is arranging for concerts by 2012, industry sources told Rolling Stone, and she is allegedly “holding arenas.”

Nicki Minaj Battles Former Maid
Nicki Minaj allegedly fought with her former maid earlier this morning, causing the cops to visit her Hollywood home. According to TMZ, Minaj fired the maid a couple weeks ago after she took a picture of Minaj taking out the trash then wanted her to autograph it. When the maid showed up at the rapper’s house this morning, Minaj tried to kick her out.
The maid proclaimed she did not want to be “treated like an animal,” to which Minaj allegedly responded, “I’ll show you how to treat someone like an animal. Get the fuck out of my house!”
It may have been a misunderstanding, and Minaj was confusing maids, thinking one was another, a source told TMZ. Despite this, Minaj’s boyfriend supposedly acted tough and was bumping up against the maid. Police were called, and the maid has reportedly filed a battery report, saying Minaj and her boyfriend were physical with her when throwing her out of the house.
In related news, an exclusive source told us that Minaj tends to display attitude towards service workers. When at a restaurant she regularly visits, she orders margaritas in specific, frivolous ways and is rarely pleased with the results, often sending them back to be remade.
