Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting a divorce above is part of the divorce document filed today by Kim’s lawyer. It really is over! As we reported earlier today although the couple have been married for only 72 days it was long enough for Kim and she planned to file for divorce. Kim has hired high-power layer Laura Wasser whose has represented Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson.

The divorce comes as no surprise rumors of a split have been circulating the internet for weeks now. Despite all of the rumors and magazine covers suggesting that Kim and her husband Kris were splitting up, they tried to deny it! I am betting this is just the next stage of Kim’s plan to take over the media with her fake marriage, fake divorce, fake baby and fake everything reports. Can’t you just see it, a month after the divorce Kim will find she is gasp… pregnant. Then the reality show ‘Kim Kardashian, life as a divorced, single mom.’ and on and on and on…

At club Lavo on Saturday night, a solo Kim Kardashian spent the evening texting and facing in the opposite direction of surrounding club goers. The reality star donned a Poison Ivy costume but was not in a festive mood. Surrounded by few friends, Kim seemed more like an anti-social zoo animal than a party hostess. Now the reasons for her publicly withdrawn behavior have come out! After just 72 days of marriage, she has decided to split from Kris Humphries.
The couple had not been spotted together for some time and were usually seen without their extravagant wedding rings. Humphries did attend Kim’s extravagant Vegas birthday bash but many suspect the act was simply for show. This is the second divorce for Kim. In 2000, at just 19-years-old, she married music producer Damon Thomas. The union lasted about four years.
Kim just released a statement confirming the reports:
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage,” she said. “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Kim Kardashian Didn’t Tell Kris Humphries She Was Filing Divorce Papers Today
Kris Humphries is broken hearted and ‘bummed’ that his sneaky low-down soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashianfiled for divorce today – after only 72 days of marriage. Kim has always been a complete phony but the surprise filing of divorce papers this morning is a new low for KarTrashian. Kris is a good natured fellow who got in bed with a black widow – and he has now been bitten by the same.
Kris told his pals that he does not believe in divorce and that he desperately tried to save his marriage to Kim Kardashian. Well Kris will believe in divorce soon enough.
Kris has the reputation of being fairly religious and TMZ says that he is telling friends he and Kim discussed the possibility of divorce, but he believed they could work their problems out.
Imagine that poor Kris didn’t even know until this morning that his darling wife was filing for divorce.
Kris is also telling friends that the stories that he was cheating on Kim are simply false.
We are convinced that when Kim realized that Kris sometimes asked to be walked off lease she pulled the plug on their marriage.
Kim Kardashian Wanted Her Marriage To Last ‘Forever’
Kim Kardashian, 31, filed for divorce from Kris Humphries today October 31, 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. She revealed things had “not worked out as planned” but claimed the pair would remain “friends”. hmm wonder if that means she did not make enough $$$$?
In a statement, Kim said: “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage, I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
Documents filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court this morning listed the date of the separation as today, and has also requested “miscellaneous jewellery and other personal effects” as well as “earrings and accumulations”owned by Kim before, during and after the short marriage to be confirmed as separate property, E! News reports.
She has also requested each party pay their own court fees. Kris has yet to comment on the break-up, butaccording to TMZ.com he is “bummed” about the decision as he believed they could work their problems out.
It is thought differences came from separate opinions about where the couple would be based, with Kris wanting to move to Minnesota while Kim was determined to stay in Los Angeles.
