1 Eric Bogle

Well-known folk singersongwriter Eric Bogle will perform in Bunbury on Thursday at the Lyric Theatre. Bogle plays one of the most famous songs in Australian history, And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda, which was named as one of the Top 30 Australian songs of all time.

2 Laugh fest

Get your dose of comedy when the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow hits town this Friday and Saturday night at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.

3 Clydesdales

The Dardanup Equestrian Centre is hosting the fourth annual Dardanup Clydesdale Working Show on Sunday.

The show will feature working clydesdale demonstrations, the 10th Lighthorse Troop as well as farrier and blacksmith demonstrations.

The show starts at 8.30am and the cost is $ 10 per car for families.

4 Top footy

After a general bye at the weekend, the South West Football League is back with a number of exciting fixtures.

The round kicks off with Collie Eagles hosting Busselton on Saturday night at Collie Recreation Ground, starting at 6.10pm.

There are three Sunday games starting at 2.30pm with Harvey Bulls playing Augusta-Margaret River at Harvey Recreation Ground; Carey Park taking on Harvey- Brunswick-Leschenault at Kelly Park; and Donnybrook against the Eaton Boomers at VC Mitchell Park.

The derby clash between Bunbury and South Bunbury is on Western Australia Day (Monday) at Hands Oval, from at 2.30pm.

5 SW Open

Bunbury Golf Club will play host to the 64th annual South West Open this coming long weekend.

The South West's biggest and best golf tournament is on from June 2-4 and is a 54-hole event which includes the Jim Barr Medal, The Phil Scott Memorial Trophy and the WIN TV Cup.

6 Milligan quiz

Milligans annual quiz night is on this Friday at the South West Italian Club from 6.30pm.

It will be a great night out with lots of fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Tables of 10 people cost $ 100 with proceeds going to Milligan programs.

This Must be the Place is on for one weekend only at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.

10 'Cartel' visit

Tijuana Cartel will bring their unique sounds to the Prince of Wales Hotel on Thursday of part of their WA tour.

Tijuana Cartel consists of Paul George and Carey O'Sullivan as co-producers, guitarists and keyboard player and Daniel Gonzalez on Afro Cuban percussion.
