Greek stocks rebounded on Monday after a 22-year-low. Business News Network reports on what sparked the surge.
“....as opinion polls in Greece indicate the country could stick with the euro. Surveys over the weekend show the country’s pro-bailout parties will be able to form a government when Greeks head back to the polls June 2nd.”
U.N. envoy Kofi Annan says he is horrified by a weekend massacre in Syria that left more than 100 people dead. Sky News reports — Annan is now making another push for his proposed peace plan.
