Celebrities get their bodies ready for summer
Summertime, and the weight loss isn't easy.
Beyoncé, who gave birth in January, told her audience at Sunday night's Atlantic City concert that it took lots of sweat and sacrifice to shed 60 pounds.
"They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!" she said, revealing her pre-baby curvalicious figure.
Who says pregnant can't be sexy? Definitely not Tori Spelling, who rocked a black monokini a la Daisy Fuentes over the Memorial Day weekend. After her last baby, Hattie, was born, Spelling credited liquid diets for losing 40 pounds in two months.
Leann Rimes showed shoppers at a grocery store in Calabasas, Calif., that she certainly isn't anorexic, looking sultry in just a bikini and wedges. Fergie rocked quite the physique while on Mexican holiday with husband Josh Duhamel. "Adios Cancun!'' she posted next to a pic of herself in a bust-hugging bikini (augmentation is a possibility).
And the eds of MensHealth.com and WomensHealthMag.com announced the third annual "Best Summer Bodies" lists. Securing the top spot: upcoming Olympian, Ryan Lochte, who in addition to his swimming, commits to 30 minutes of ab work daily, plus lots of medicine ball action. Taylor Kitsch (whose disastrous John Carter comes out on DVD June 5 ) and country singer Kenny Chesney round out the top three. In the women's category, No. 1 is dancer and Rock of Ages star Julianne Hough. Ryan Seacrest's lady friend uses fitness trainer Tracy Anderson for total-body "dancelike" workouts. Following are Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller and Glee's Lea Michele.
