Glamour Awards: Naomi Watts keeps the 'side-boob' trend going with a daring spider web dress

Over the past few months, the 'side-boob' trend has been sneaking into more daring celebrity fashion ensembles.

And at last night's Glamour Women Of The Year awards, it was actress Naomi Watts giving a flash of side cleavage in a daring black dress.

The Kent-born star was wearing a Versace spider web-patterned creation with high-heeled sandals as she arrived with friend David Furnish.

Speaking last night, she admitted wearing clothes from the Italian fashion house made her 'feel like a million bucks'.

But she warned before presenting the award: 'You need three people to get in the dress and one patient man to get out of it

Unlike some other stars who end up exposing too much flesh, fortunately Naomi's dress fit so well, it just gave a hint of cleavage.

A host of celebrities including Nicole Scherzinger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Anne Hathaway have been flaunting plenty of side-boob in recent weeks.

Naomi was a last minute replacement for Furnish's partner Sir Elton John.

The actress - who is set to play Princess Diana - attended as a 'stand-in' for Sir Elton as the pop legend is recovering from a respiratory infection.

He recently cancelled three Las Vegas performances after being hospitalised with the ailment.

Furnish said last night: 'Thank you for your well wishes. He's doing incredibly well and recovering.'

The pair went on to present the Best Designer award to Donatella Versace.

Speaking on stage, David said: 'Donatella is the most glamorous woman in the room. I once asked her what do you wear in the gym, she said "Darling, I only wear black and diamonds".'

Watts has been in the UK for the past two weeks, researching her upcoming film role as Princess Diana and promoting the new range of Jacobs' Creek Cool Harvest wines, for which she is an ambassador.
