RIHANNA looks ladylike in a pink prom dress

The 24-year-old was dolled up in her best posh frock for Time magazine's The Most Influential People In The World party.

The Rude Boy singer was honoured on the annual list and she didn't go unmissed in her cerise pink, eye-popping ballgown at the bash in New York.

Dressing appropriately for the posh event, whose list of important people included Barack Obama and the Duchess of Cambridge, she made a sophisticated statement in her puffy dress.

The strapless, padded dress was accessorised with black heels, her insanely long dark nails and diamond chandelier earrings.

She complemented the bright colour with dark pink lipstick and wore her hair down in loose curls.

Performing for the celeb-heavy crowd later that night, she changed into a strange gold bustier top with an orange bow and silver patterned shiny trousers.

Rihanna

She's nailed it ... showing off her talons and tattoos

Also glamming up the red carpet was Tyra Banks, who's obviously forgotten to swap fashion notes with Rihanna.

The 38-year-old model chose a similar floor-length burgundy pink strapless dress.

Rihanna

Pink lady ... Rihanna

From a distance, with her long dark curly hair and floor-sweeping fishtail dress, the presenter could have been mistaken for the singer.

Not so much winning in the style stakes was actress Claire Danes' slightly questionable outfit.

Tyra Banks

Banks a lot ... Tyra

The 33-year-old wore a rusty red, shiny knee-length dress with nude shoes and a clunky necklace.

It seemed she was channelling a hairdo from There's Something About Mary as she rocked a big quiff.

Rihanna

Golden girl? ... Rihanna in an odd stage outfit

Flying the British flag was actress Tilda Swinton, who went for her usual masculine-chic look.

The all-in-one white trouser suit did nothing for her thin frame but certainly got the 51-year-old noticed.

Claire Danes

Interesting Clair-do ... Danes

Meanwhile, after the grown-up party, Ri-Ri was back to her potty-mouthed best on Twitter.

She wrote a message, perhaps pointing at her alleged former flame Ashton Kutcher.

Tilda Swinton

Swin-ning in the style stakes? ... Tilda

"Well....2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate! #Thxtime100."

Looks like her mum's got a Rih-lly naughty sense of humour too.

Derrick Rose - Too Big, Too Strong, Too Fast, Too Good Mix [HD]

Finally after 3 weeks of dragging this on I finally finished my first Derrick Rose Mix. It might be a little sloppy in some areas but this is mainly due to the amount of problems I had with Sony Vegas (lag, rendering, etc.) so I had to switch to Final Cut Pro X which surprisingly had to take a long time getting used to. In addition, due to the NBA lockout it was difficult to search for a bunch of clips that I needed which weren't on youtube or NBA.com. With that being said, this is my first mix of my favourite player in the NBA, Derrick Rose. (no I'm not a bandwagonner, I'm not one of those "fans" who wear bulls gear just cause everyone wears it or just cause he won MVP) This mix highlights most of Derrick Rose's breathtaking plays from the 2010-2011 NBA season including some clips from the NBA 2011 playoffs as well. Also this mix not only reveals his ability to play basketball like a BOSS but also exhibits his love for the game as well, as you will see during the end of the mix. The title of the video is inspired by my favourite commentator in the NBA, Stacey King. Most of the play-by-plays in the video is called by him, his line "Too Big, Too Strong, Too Fast, Too Good" has to be one of my favourites. Hope you enjoy the video and there will definitely be more coming soon. Thank You Based God....swag. Songs Used: All of the Lights - Kanye West feat.
