Lauren Conrad shows off her toned legs in a flirty dress after admitting she's 'petrified' of the dreaded orange-peel

She revealed earlier this year that she was too scared to wear a swimming costume because of the fear that she has cellulite.
But Lauren Conrad appears to have conquered her phobia, as she proved by wearing a flirty spotted dress while stepping out in Los Angeles yesterday.
The 26-year-old former Hills star showed off her toned legs in a cute brown polkadot dress, which she paired with a pair of pale pink sandals and a beige loose cardigan as she continued promoting her new book The Fame Game.

Last month Lauren admitted to Glamour magazine that she was terrified about her cellulite, and couldn't stand it when people pointed it out.
She said: 'On the vacation to Cabo, I wore a bathing suit on the beach for the first time in years,' she recalls to the magazine. Usually I'm just petrified.
'A couple of years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it was so mean. I took it really personally. I haven't worn a bathing suit in L.A. in years because of that.'

Lauren added: 'I haven't met a woman without insecurities. You just have to learn to play up the positives.'
However, Lauren looked more than confident in her summer chic outfit, which she paired with a pair of sunglasses and huge tan bag, as she headed to KIIS-FM for an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
Lauren, who shot to fame on MTV reality show Laguna Beach before finding more fame with The Hills, is now an established fashion designer and author, and recently released the latest installment in her LA Candy book series.

Talking about the book, Lauren said she had been encouraged to try her luck at writing because she had always hated being made to read when she was at school.
She said: 'One of my biggest goals, especially with writing Young Adult novels, is just to have people enjoy reading.
'I remember being in high school and it was so forced because everything I read through most of school was assigned reading.
'I love the idea of giving girls a book that they can read and enjoy reading.'
