Caroline Flack steps out looking demure as she ditches the hot pants for trousers

She's usually recognised for her trademark array of shorts, hot pants, and various other leg-baring attire.

But it seems Caroline Flack has discovered something of a shy streak lately.

The Xtra Factor presenter, 32, was spotted out in Primrose Hill yesterday wearing a rather more modest pair of black trousers.

While the legwear might have been a nod to the inclement weather, the star was also sporting a pair of sunglasses, so it would appear that dressing for the elements isn't her priority.

Caroline teamed her- admittedly fitted- trousers with a white t-shirt and a khaki jacket with black leather sleeves.

It would appear that she is taking her attitude to dressing in a slightly new direction lately.

She also slipped into some curve-hugging peach jeans earlier this month.

Maybe Caroline is feeling a little more self-conscious than usual these days.

The star endured a little embarrassment on Celebrity Juice on Thursday when Keith Lemon threw a few Harry Styles-related jokes her way.

The cheeky presenter asked: 'When you were having sex, did he just giggle at your boobs?' and then launched into a rather suggestive dance.

Thankfully Holly Willoughby was on hand to keep Keith in check- though Caroline handled the questions with poise.

Comedian Chris Ramsey remarked on Harry: 'It's ridiculous how good-looking that kid is," he said. "it's like he's been made in a lab.'

While she presents Simon Cowell's ITV2 spin-off show, it seems Caroline may be practicing her audition techniques for the new series.

The television presenter recently put her vocal chords into overdrive during a visit to karaoke bar Lucky Voice in Soho, central London.

The event seemed to be a night on the tiles especially for the Xtra Factor team, with Caroline tweeting co-host Olly Murs to say he was 'missing out'.

She retweeted a message from series producer Tim Dean, saying: '@ollyofficial you are missing out! #teamxtranightoutminussomekeymembers'.
