Bob Geldof brands grandson Astala’s name ‘rubbish’

SIR Bob Geldof has pleaded with daughter Peaches to change the name of their new son.

Peaches, 23, and partner Tom Cohen, 20, have called the baby Astala.

Bob, 60, said: "Yuck! I've actually been begging them to change it.

"What's he going to be called in school? Ass? Stella? It's a girl's name, let's face it."

But he defended the unusual names of his own daughters — which includes Fifi Trixibelle, 29, and Little Pixie, 21 — saying there were good reasons for them.

And the Live Aid legend admitted he was thrilled to have a boy in the family.

Bob said: "I've swam in oestrogen my entire life, and now finally a little chap comes along. It's great."
