Whitney Houston’s mother plans to write a book about the singer
Cissy Houston, 78, vowed it would set the record straight on her daughter, who drowned in a bath at a Beverly Hills hotel aged 48.
She said: "I want to stop the lies, It's going to be the bad. It's going to be the good."
Cissy has met several publishers in New York.
A deal could reach seven figures depending on what she reveals about the diva's drug and marriage woes.
But two of the publishers said she was reluctant to address the issues.
