Speidi: We thought housemates might kill us

HEIDI and Spencer have claimed they lived in fear of their Celebrity Big Brother housemates "killing them" in their sleep.

The couple, known as Speidi, fell out with all their fellow celebs during their three-week stint on the show and say tensions got so bad they were worried what might happen to them.

Spencer, 29, said: "We didn't sleep much at all. I always had one eye open.

"We were watching them thinking they were going to try and kill us in our sleep. We were constantly nervous something might happen."

The married US reality stars, who left the house on Friday after coming second in the Channel 5 show, clashed with the rest of the celebs from day one.

They immediately took a dislike to Frankie Dettori and Rylan Clark for banishing them to the basement, and refused to meet any of the stars living upstairs in the house.

When the former Hills stars did finally move into the main house, the frosty atmosphere continued as they discovered all ten of their fellow housemates had nominated them for eviction.

Things went from bad to worse when they were saved in the public vote, as Big Brother set them a secret challenge to pretend to storm off the show.

They really moved back to the basement, where they watched footage of the rest of the celebs talking about them and were left furious by what they heard.

When the task was over they returned to the house, where they got into a shouting match with Rylan, Ryan Moloney and Neil "Razor" Ruddock, who had to be disciplined for becoming too aggressive.

Heidi said: "I was really scared by Razor's behaviour. I thought we would have to run to get away from it. I didn't want to get into a fight at all costs."

And Spencer claims the stars' anger towards them left them fearing what they might do next.

He said: "Every time we saw any of them near knives we left the kitchen straight away. Some of them would itch their own face with a butcher's knife – it was mentally insane.

"If they'll hold knives by their own faces I didn't know what they were capable of."

Heidi, 26, added: "They were at such an intense level in the house, we thought they would come and mess with us. Who knows what they would do?

"At times they were very volatile, easily triggered and they had violent tendencies. So I was scared."

The couple also clashed with the rest of the celebs when they clapped after learning their refusal to take part in a task meant Claire Richards would not receive her letter from home.

Heidi said: "It was us versus the house."

While Spencer, who later claimed to have been playing the bad guy because he wanted to be seen as the "ultimate CBB baddie", says the reason their housemates disliked them so much was because they were more entertaining.

He said: "They hated us because we upstaged them."
