Baf Ta!
CELEBS will bag goodies worth more than £2,500 at next month's BAFTAs.
Stars like Daniel Day Lewis and Dame Helen Mirren will be offered an amazing array of freebies to take home with them.
They include an exclusive bag from fashion designer Anya Hindmarch — worth £500 — an £800 Asprey photo frame, a Cross Townsend ballpoint pen costing £200 and a £250 luxury one-night stay at a Chapter Hotel.
At the cheaper end of the scale is a £40 Timothy Han candle, and a note card painting of the Diamond Jubilee flotilla worth £50.
And stars can toast their success with a £35 bottle of champaign and £10 box of truffles.
A source said: "The giftbag has been put together thanks to handouts from all the sponsors. This year's goodies are better than ever and will maybe help soften the blow for those who go home without a gong."
But the giftbags still have some way to go to top the glamorous offerings at the Oscars — where they were famously once worth £60,000.
The nominees will pick up the gifts at the glitzy movie awards ceremony — dubbed the British Oscars — on February 10.
