On a dull and dreary day Nigella Lawson did her best to bring a spot of sunshine to gloomy weather.

The seductive culinary temptress was seen running errands around central London in an eye-catching yellow jacket as she displayed her slim figure.

The 53-year-old opted for some colour as she made a style statement and looked great despite the poor weather conditions.

Nigella kept things simple and teamed the yellow double breasted coat with a plain black low cut jumper and matching slim fit trousers.

The dark haired beauty kept up her healthy regime by carrying a bottle of water with her during her day around town.

Nigella was also not wearing any make-up as she gave her pretty face a day off from any cosmetics and foundation.

The slimmed down television chef recently revealed how she keeps her weight down and stays able to eat almost anything she wants.

Speaking to OK magazine she said: 'I sure eat a lot, but I exercise a lot.

'I used to do yoga and I do a lot of power Pilates. I do Pilates about three times a week and I do regular old-fashion training with weights and a treadmill the other days.'

Nigella, who is currently starring as a judge on new cookery show, The Taste, in USA, said that her love of food outweighs her desire to be slim.

She told the magazine: 'I remember Elizabeth Hurley once said: ''It's either the cookie jar or the size 6 jeans.''

'Well, fair enough. She would rather the size 6 jeans, I would rather the cookie jar. If wearing certain clothes matters most to you, then that is going to be your priority.'
