Calvin Harris is UK’s most successful songwriter

CALVIN HARRIS has topped yet another chart – as the UK's most successful songwriter.

It's the second successive year he's done so, based on the Official Charts Company's top 100 downloads of 2012.

The Scot's hits include Let's Go, We'll Be Coming Back and Sweet Nothing.

Calvin has also written for CHERYL COLE and RIHANNA. He beat SIA FURLER, who has string of songwriting smashes including co-penning UK No1 singles Titanium by DAVID GUETTA and Diamonds by RIHANNA.

Fellow Scot EMELI SANDE finished 11th overall. But she needn't be too upset. Her debut album Our Version Of Events sold an unrivalled 1.4million copies. Not a bad start.
