One Direction's Liam Payne splits from girlfriend Danielle Peazer after spending 'more and more time apart'

He's spent much of the year touring the world with the rest of One Direction.

But it would seem the pressures of sustaining a predominantly long-distance relationship have got too much for Liam Payne, who has reportedly called time on his relationship with dancer girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

The couple had been dating for two years after first meeting when One Direction were competing on The X Factor back in 2010.

But the pair are said to have called it a day after their respective work commitments meant they hardly ever saw each other.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'They have split in the last few days because it has been more and more difficult to keep the relationship going with Liam spending more and more time away.

'He has hardly been able to see Danielle in recent months and the band have a world tour next year so it was only going to get harder.'

Despite calling time on their romance, the pair are said to have ended things amicably.

The source added: 'They ended things but Liam hopes they have left on good terms. She was the first real love of his life.'

Liam first met the stunning brunette when his One Direction bandmate Harry Styles introduced them back in 2010.

He previously said: 'This has never been told before, but when I actually got with my girlfriend, Harry was the boy that set us up.

'Harry is the magic match-up man. He is like Hitch – he can do for everyone else but not himself.'

Liam and Danielle were most recently seen together at the 19-year-old singer's birthday party late last month, with the pair looking utterly smitten as they arrived at London's Funky Buddha nightclub hand in hand.

The teen heartthrob now joins fellow single One Directioners Niall Horan and Harry Styles.

Meanwhile, Zayn Malik is dating Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, and Louis Tomlinson is in a long-term relationship with Manchester University student and model Eleanor Calder.
