Madonna 'Being Ironic' When She Called Obama Muslim

Now she’s saying she was being “ironic,” but during her MDNA Tour in D.C., Madonna got a little political — and a little confusing when she called on her fans to support President Obama’s reelection.
“Y'all better vote for f--king Obama, OK? ... We have a black Muslim in the White House. It means there is hope in this country."
Quite an endorsement, except...
President Obama isn’t Muslim.
OBAMA: “I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and that I’m redeemed through him.”
Interestingly though, the latest from Pew finds nearly one in five voters think President Obama IS Muslim.
Which, I guess, makes Madonna one in five. What made the whole thing even weirder though:
After her speech, concert-goers report she showed the crowd her bra and promised:
“When Obama is in the White House for a second term I'll take it all off.”
To which Herman Cain’s twitter account responded: “For God’s sake people, VOTE ROMNEY!”
As for the “black Muslim in the White House” thing her statement Tuesday read:
“Yes, I know Obama is not a Muslim - though I know that plenty of people in this country think he is. … The point I was making is that a good man is a good man, no matter who he prays to."
During a concert at Yankee Stadium she sported some Obama body art on her back.
But seriously? Who takes advice from celebrities on who to vote for? To quote The Washington Post’s Alexandra Petri:
“...getting your political opinions second-hand from celebrity entertainers is its own punishment.”
