Schwarzenegger's '60 Minutes' Interview Covers New Biography

Bodybuilder turned actor, turned politician, — and now turned author—Arnold Schwarzenegger sat down with 60 Minutes’ Lesley Stahl for an interview about his new book this weekend.
According to Arnold, the book, titled Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, will cover portions of his life not previously revealed — or as the trailer puts it ...
“I went from being the Terminator to the Governator, but this is the story you know. So are you ready for the story you don’t?”
Turns out, not everyone is ready. Mainly — one of the subjects of the book — Schwarzenegger’s estranged wife Maria Shriver — who isn’t too happy about it. Sources told TMZ …
“... a ‘60 Minute"’ producer made calls Monday to friends of Maria -- AFTER Arnold's interview was shot -- to see if she had a general comment about the book ... We're told the piece was already in the can, and Maria had ‘no interest’ in commenting -- especially because it's ridiculous to wedge a comment of hers in a long piece.”
As far as other subjects go, it’s easy to see why Shriver might not be too keen on the book. Schwarzenegger says the autobiography will also include both his successes and his failures — including the affair he had with a maid in the late 1990s. On the affair he told Stahl …
“I think it was the stupidest thing I’ve done in the whole relationship. It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids.”
But, despite all that pain Arnold reportedly isn’t being sympathetic with his pocket book. According to the Daily Mail ...
“... the 65-year-old bodybuilding legend has allegedly made it clear to her that the book is his property, and she will not be getting her hands on any part of his multi-million dollar advance or the bumper royalties.”
The book also reportedly confirms an affair Schwarzenegger had with Brigitte Nielsen in the mid 1980s while he and Shriver were living together.
