TOWIE trio Joey, Diags and Tom P end up in tandem trouble

Joey Essex and his friends lived up to their dim reputations yesterday as three of them tried to squeeze on a tandem bike.

The club promoter, 22, and his TOWIE co-stars James 'Diags' Bennewith and Tom Pearce decided to try to fit three of them on a bicycle built for two.

Unsurprisingly, it wasn't long before the vehicle struggled to contain them all and they ended up crashing to the ground.

Enjoying a warm summer day near their Essex home, Joey decided to hire a tandem.

But it looked like Diags or Tom couldn't wait their turns and decided to all hop on.

Aside from the biking antics, the trio were also enjoyed the sunshine and went to one of their local pubs.

But it appears Joey's girlfriend Sam Faiers wasn't far from his mind.

He tweeted: 'Having a nice drink with the boys at blue boar. Lovely weather today unreal !!! ... Missing @SamanthaFaiers x.'

The couple don't appear to be too bothered by castmate Mario Falcone's claims that both Joey and Sam had cheated on each other.

Joey and Sam weren't invited to Mario and Lucy Mecklenburgh's engagement party in the first episode of Series 6.

However, when Lucy found out they were outside, she confronted Sam over her comments about their engagement.

Sam insisted she was looking out for her friend, but was concerned about Mario's fidelity to her.

However, Mario then responded he had heard rumours about Joey with another woman on his recent holiday in Ibiza.
