KATIE Holmes looked radiant on a night out in New York — and it may have had to do something with this dinner date.
The actress, 33 — who recently split from Tom Cruise, 50, after five years of marriage — was accompanied by a male friend, whom she kissed goodbye on the cheek as she left.

Katie looked relaxed, choosing a green maxi dress teamed with black leather jacket and ballet flats. She wore her hair in a simple ponytail and opted for little make-up.
Her friend went for a smart casual look with jeans, blue checked shirt and a navy blazer.
Katie's night out came after she cancelled her first public appearance this Saturday.
She was due to walk the red carpet at an event for her Dizzy Feet Foundation in LA.
Meanwhile, Cruise's Church of Scientology is trying to discredit the former Mrs Cruise, former members have claimed.
Cult defector Samantha Domingo reportedly said: "Katie would have been excommunicated normally, and behind the scenes she probably already is.
"Internally the wheels are in motion to discredit Katie. We have moles that are pretending to be good Scientologists who report back to us on the outside. I've seen internal memos about Katie."
