Muse frontman Matt Bellamy samples baby's heartbeat on new album

ROCKER Matt Bellamy has used his baby's heartbeat on his forthcoming album as a tribute to him.

The Muse frontman has revealed that album track Follow Me opens with the rhythm of one-year-old son Bingham's heart.

Matt - who is enagaged to Hollywood star Kate Hudson - has also admitted that he worries about the future even more now he is a dad.

In 2009 the singer famously stocked up on food when he became convinced that the world was going to end after researching conspiracy theories for the band's fifth studio album, The Resistance.

He told NME magazine: "Becoming a father has made my songwriting a bit more focused. I don't think it's affected my concerns and fears and anxieties. If anything, the concerns for the future are amplified."

Kate Hudson tried staying undercover with the help of a hooded sweater and shades while out in New York City with her rocker fiance Matthew Bellamy. The two were spotted puppy shopping in the west village. They stopped by two pet stores and also a baby boutique. The actress is also seen holding an ice pack to her swollen jaw due to a recent visit to the dentist visit. During their stroll, Matthew's untied shoe flew off his foot. After the couple picked out their puppy, They hailed a cab and headed back to their Tribeca hotel.

Matt, 34, also told the trendy music mag that another track featured on The 2nd Law is all about arguing with fiancee Kate, 33.

He said: "It's like you've had a fight with your girlfriend and she goes off to her mum's house for the day and you're on your own going, 'What did I say?'.

"I'm sure a lot of blokes have that experience in the early stages of relationships where you go: 'Yeah, she's right isn't she?' "

And it seems Matt's bandmates are less than impressed with the extra attention they receive due to his high-profile relationship.

Dom Howard said: "I'm surprised he hasn't smashed someone's camera with a golf club yet.

"He did start carrying a golf club at one point. I'm surprised it didn't make him crack and do something that was going to end up putting him in court."

Muse's latest track and the first single from their new album, Survival, is the offical London 2012 Olympics song.

The 2nd Law is rumoured to be scheduled for release in mid-September.
