She rose to fame dressing to fit her Scary Spice alter ego in a number of loud outfits, largely including splashes of animal print.

Mel also accessorised to perfection in matching blue heels, while her skin looked radiant as she wore her hair scraped into an up 'do.

Her appearance comes amid speculation she's about to reunite with her Spice Girls bandmates on stage at the Olympics Closing Ceremony next month.

The news that the girls will be hitting the stage one again for the closing ceremony, a fact confirmed by sources to MailOnline, came after Mel C said she would take it as a personal snub if they were omitted from the line-up.

She said: 'I'd be really upset if the Spice Girls weren't included in the Olympics, whether it be the opening or closing ceremonies or any other playlists, because I think we absolutely represented Britain in the 90s.

'We literally flew the flag - and Geri even wore it - around the globe.'

As well as the closing ceremony, Geri and Emma have been working alongside the other Spice Girls - Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Mel B - on the launch of the upcoming musical Viva Forever.

Comedienne Jennifer Saunders and Mamma Mia producer Judy Craymer have also collaborated on the musical, which will be based on the songs of the hit band.
