TOWIE: Miss Goodger and Miss Pope have bust-up at Joey Essex's party

Things have been a little awkward between them recently.

And it looks as though tensions between TOWIE's Lauren Pope and Lauren Goodger have finally come to a head.

Goodger was seen leaving Joey Essex's birthday party on Thursday in tears, accompanied by her new love interest Tom P.

It is thought that the dispute between the ladies was sparked by Lauren's new romance- which comes just after Tom enjoyed a fling with Lauren Pope.

Tom had his arm around Goodger as she left the party, visibly shaken.

Neither Miss Pope not Miss Goodger has given any hint of what happened on their Twitter pages, no doubt to save the story for tomorrow night's episode of TOWIE.

It will be interesting to see how long the interest between Goodger and Tom P lasts, given the surprise start to their romance.

Attending an Olympic sports day party earlier this week, Lauren and Tom P ended up kissing behind a cowshed after he won the men's 100 metres race.

Although they shared a flirtation in Series 5, Tom ended up moving his affection to her friend Lauren Pope after Goodger was suspended from TOWIE in April.

Miss Goodger got back together and simultaneously engaged to ex-fiancé Mark Wright in a bizarre car park proposal in Series 2, they had split by the time Series 3 hit screens.

Although Tom P's brief romance with Pope recently ended, he was photographed kissing The Bachelor contestant Khloe Evans last week - just 24 hours before he did the same thing with Goodger.

Discussing their first kiss in the latest episode, a giddy Goodger couldn't wait to relate her gossip to friends BIlli Mucklow, Frankie Essex and Cara Kilbey.

She said: 'We just went to Faces. He said, "I always liked you. Its because you said no." Then he kinda kissed me...

'We stayed in the club for a bit, obviously a few people came back to mine.'

At the sports day party later that day, Goodger and Tom P couldn't stop flirting.

By the end of the episode, Lauren and Tom P were seen kissing behind a shed, with the economics graduate telling her: 'I've wanted to do that all day.'
