Both the ARIA Singles and Albums charts welcome fresh faces to their poll positions, while Rihanna dominates the TMN Hot 100 while sitting in the top five of the singles and albums charts.

TMN HOT 100 AIRPLAY CHART

We found a hit! Barbadian pop-queen, Rihanna, has held onto the top spot with her hit, We Found Love, featuringCalvin Harris, holding down the ARIA Singles #1 of many weeks, Sexy And I Know It, by the party rocking duo,LMFAO.

With LMFAO holding #2 this week, Flo Rida's Good Feeling, Ed Sheeran's The A Team and Lloyd'sDedication To My Ex (Miss That) featuring Andre 3000 and Lil Wayne round our #3 to #5. Kelly Clarksonsuccessfully lured a good wad of her spins from Mr. Know It All (which fell from #2 to #11) and pumped them intoWhat Doesn't Kill You (Stronger), which leapt from #69 to #23. That's one position higher than Mr. Know It Allfound itself in its second week on the Hot 100 and that ended up being her first ever #1 airplay single in Australia.

The highest debut for the week wasn't too far behind. Rihanna isn't just on top of the chart, she is striving to knock her own single from the peak. You Da One entered at #26, which matches her second highest debut to date, with Russian Roulette. The only track that debuted higher for Ri Ri was Only Girl (In The World) which slipped in at #20 and also peaked at #1. Can we just call You Da One a hit and get on with it?

ARIA TOP 50 SINGLES CHART

A wild X Factor winner appears! All Pokemon references aside, Reece Mastin swept in and dominated the ARIA Singles chart with his debut single, Good Night. A copy of this bad boy sold every 2.7 seconds for the seventeen-year-old last Wednesday, so it comes as no surprise that he took out the top spot, knocking off LMFAO's Sexy And I Know It, which fell to #3, behind Ed Sheeran's The A Team, which stuck it out at #2.

Guy Sebastian (with another Highest Selling Single ARIA Award on the shelf) has scored another Top 10 debut with Don't Worry Be Happy entering the chart at #7. Two positions below, Taio Cruz's Hangover made its mark on the Top 10, creeping up from #15 to #9. This is Cruz's third time in the Top 10 in Australia, with his other Top 10 singles peaking at #1 and #2. Can it happen again?

Rihanna is keeping things rolling on the ARIA Singles chart as well. We Found Love dropped from #3 to #4, but that can't hurt too bad when You Da One, Where Have You Been and Drake's Take Care (which of course feature Rihanna) all entered the Top 50 at #41, #46 and #45 respectively.

ARIA TOP 50 ALBUMS CHART

Wish a first time #1 single taking out the ARIA Singles chart, it is only fair for the Albums chart to offer up the same. Here And Now's #1 debut for Nickelback is historical in its own right, as it is the first album from the acclaimed Canadian rockers to hit #1 in this country. The band has peaked at each position within the Top 5 before, so it is good to see the group round out the score.

Just to cap it all off for Rihanna, Talk That Talk debuted at #5, three positions from her two-time personal best of #2 (with Good Girl Gone Bad and Loud). It should be noted that it took 13 of 51 weeks on the chart for Loud to hit its #2 peak on the ARIA Albums chart, so there is plenty of potential ahead.

Other debuts for the week included Drake's Take Care at #15, Stan Walker's Let The Music Play at #18, Kate Bush's 50 Words For Snow at #22, David Campbell's Let's Go at #23, Snow Patrol's Fallen Empires at #24,Dolly Parton's Better Day at #29 and Daughtry's Break The Spell at #32.

Barbados-born R&B singer Rihanna scored a record-breaking double on Sunday as her "Talk That Talk" debuted at the top of the album charts and she held onto first place in the singles ranking.

Rihanna

It is the second time this year she has been number one in both charts, and she becomes the first female artist to achieve the feat with different singles and albums in the same year, the Official Charts Company said.

In January Rihanna topped the two charts with her single "What's My Name" and the album "Loud".

Her latest recording, "We Found Love", featuring Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, was the best-selling single for the sixth week in a row.

She was pursued by a throng of artists linked to Britain's X-Factor television talent show.

English singer-songwriter Olly Murs, an X-Factor runner-up, was a new entrant in second place with "Dance With Me Tonight".

Swedish DJ Avicii was fresh in at number four with "Levels", chased by U.S. singer and X-Factor judge Kelly Rowland, whose "Down For Whatever", featuring the Wavs, debuted in sixth place.

Rebecca Ferguson, another X-Factor runner-up, entered at number 10 with her debut single "Nothing's Real But Love".

In the album charts, British boy band One Direction, also X-Factor graduates, jumped straight in at number two with "Up All Night".

Irish boy band Westlife were new in fourth place with their "Greatest Hits" collection, while veteran singer-songwriter Kate Bush debuted at number five with "50 Words For Snow".

Canadian rock band Nickelback entered in tenth place with their new album "Here And Now".

Rihanna sets UK chart record

R&B star Rihanna has become the first artist in 39 years to top the UK's albums and singles charts twice in the same year with different releases.

The singer's new disc Talk That Talk debuted at number one on Sunday (27Nov11), while her Calvin Harris collaboration, We Found Love, enjoyed another week in pole position.

Rihanna previously scored a chart double in the UK in January, when Loud was the country's biggest selling album and 'What's My Name', her track with rapper Drake, was the most popular single.

The Bajan beauty is the first female to achieve the feat, while British rock band T-Rex was the last act to do so in May 1972.

Elsewhere in the albums chart, boyband One Direction debut Up All Night at two, and crooner Michael Buble falls from one to three with Christmas.

Meanwhile, former The X Factor star Olly Murs takes second place in the singles countdown with 'Dancy With Me Tonight' and rapper Flo Rida slips one place to three with 'Good Feeling'.
