Is it Rhys' influence? Anna Friel ditches the dresses to wear skin-tight jeans and rock-chic boots for lunch date

She's usually the picture of old Hollywood glamour in a stunning dress with tumbling curls and lashings of lippy.
But yesterday Anna Friel ditched the dresses and channeled her inner rock chick for a lunch date with boyfriend Rhys Ifans.
The pair were snapped striding purposefully down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles after dining at Greenblatts Deli.
Rock-star chic: Hollywood couple Rhys Ifans and Anna Friel look more like rock stars than actors as they stride down Sunset Boulevard after lunch
Tiny and toned: Friel showed off her tiny frame in an off-the-shoulder stripey top and skin-tight jeans that she tucked into weather-beaten boots
The 35-year-old actress, who has been dating Ifans for six months, showed off her tiny, toned frame in skin-tight print jeans and an off-the-shoulder stripey top.
She teamed this with weather-beaten rock-star boots and graded Ray-Ban sunglasses, while her hair blew out widely behind her.
Meanwhile Welsh actor Ifans looked like his usual self in leather jacket, jeans and boots.
Pretty: Friel's rock chic look is a departure from her usual style of pretty dresses, flowing locks and lashings of lippy, seen left and right in 2009
In fact the only thing he'd changed since the couple were snapped at LAX the day before was his T-shirt - and hopefully his underwear.
Could the 44-year-old be having an influence on Friel's style?
It could be that Friel got a taste for skin-tight clothing while she was filming upcoming Peter Pan prequel Neverland, where the couple met.
Friel plays a nasty pirate in the TV film who teaches Ifans' Captain Hook all his future bad habits.
Same look: Meanwhile Ifans changed his T-shirt but wore the same jeans, battered leather jacket and boots that he had worn at LAX a day earlier, right
Making an effort: Friel teamed black, strappy boots with a midnight blue lace dress and gillet for her arrival at LAX airport with Ifans on Sunday
In an interview with Collider she said: 'Getting into really tight leather trousers and corsets every day was the hardest thing.
'And, having to use a sword while wrapped up in a tight corset was a challenge.'
The star of American TV show Pushing Daisies broke up with her partner of ten years and father to her six-year-old daughter, David Thewlis last year.
She has made no secret of her love for new man Ifans.
'He is a lovely, lovely man,' she said of the Welsh actor. 'So funny. So poetic. And a big family person.'
