Looks like the whole thing is just another Publicity Scam ?
In a photograph posted on his Twitter account this morning, the actor is seen standing in a field with a cow in the distance.
There was no indication of his location, just a short message, simply saying: "Country Giving."
While Ashton looks pale, tired and scruffy, he does manage to raise a slight smile.
Two weeks ago heartbroken Demi announced she is divorcing the alleged love-rat.
The cougar was then spotted for the first time since announcing her split at a photoshoot at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.
Demi, 49, called time on her marriage to toyboy Ashton, 33, after blonde Sara Leal, 22, said she romped with the Two And A Half Men actor on their sixth wedding anniversary.
The couple, worth �185million, tried turning to their Kabbalah religion in a desperate but failed bid to save their relationship.
Demi said in a statement: "It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.

Kutcher wrote on Twitter: "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail."
Party girl Sara told The Sun she romped with the actor in a hot tub at his hotel penthouse in San Diego, California on his wedding anniversary.

Brittney Jones, 22, claimed she had sex with Kutcher at the couple's LA home but he denied it.
Demi tweeted a quote by philosopher Epictetus the day before the anniversary suggesting there may have already been problems in the relationship.
It said: "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."
After he was accused of cheating, Ashton tweeted: "When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you, make an ASS out of U and ME."
