Adele pregnant: Singer expecting first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki

The singer today revealed she is expecting a baby with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

Adele, 24, released a statement on her website saying: "Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.

"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

The Brit won Album of the Year at the 54th annual Grammy Awards earlier this year for 21, her second studio album.

She picked up six Grammy awards in total at the ceremony in February.

Adele and divorced Simon, 36, revealed they were dating in January.
