The three and a half hour Oscar ceremony is broadcast live to millions of people are the world
While A-listers may be used to keeping people waiting, the Academy Awards are one of the few times they have been bang on time.
And there's no doubt that backstage at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre was one of the hottest places to be with winners, nominees and presenters spotted patiently waiting - or just passing through - for their moment in the spotlight.

Best Actor winner Daniel Day-Lewis was accompanied off stage following his triumph by last year's Best Actress Meryl Streep, who had presented him with the award.
