Jade Ewen hits back at Rita Ora's Eurovision remark

Sugababe Jade Ewen has got her claws out in response to a comment Rita Ora made apparently referring to her.

The Splash! star tweeted: 'Easy to mock when you are enjoying success. Eurovision and splash? Proud of both Some manage to sleep their way to success some have morals.'

Her retort came after R.I.P singer Rita said: 'Imagine! If I'd stayed, it would probably have been all over for me. At best, I'd be a contestant on that diving show…?' Splash!? Yeah, Splash! I love that show.'

Jade is referring to outrageous claims made by Rob Kardashian back in December that Rita had cheated on him with 'more than 20 dudes.'

At the time a spokesperson for the star told MailOnline that she was not prepared to comment.

The famous Kardashian sibling said he was 'disgusted' with the How We Do singer.

'She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together... But I mean 20?!!!!' he tweeted in the early hours of Monday morning.

Minutes later Rob continued with his tirade against the star, writing: 'How can a woman who is so busy trying to start her own career have time to be with so many dudes while in a relationship?!'

And he added: 'I am actually disgusted.'

Jade took offensive to Rita's comment because she represented the UK in the Eurovision song contest in 2009.

She performed It's My Time composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and came in fifth place, which was the UK's highest placing since 2002.

During a hiatus from her band, Jade then took part in Olympic diver Tom Daley's diving show Splash!.

Rita recently revealed that she took part in Eurovision: Your Country Needs You! when she was 16 but decided it wasn't for her.

Meanwhile the Rita channelled a sexy ancient Roman empress as she slipped into a derriere skimming red minidress and a pair of Gladiator style shoes by Jimmy Choo for the Etam show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.

Not afraid to show off her body the RIP singer wore the see-through red lace dress, with beautiful and intricate embroidery on it.

With her shapely legs fully on display she added a pair of strappy black sandals, which cost £995 and reached just beneath her knees.

In keeping with her dramatic look she wore a chunky gold choker necklace with a large cross dangling off it and a number of gold bracelets.

Her famous peroxide blonde hair was braided into two French braids, perfect considering the continent she was on.

Lively Rita began her performance sitting down before getting up and putting in her usual energy as a range of scantily clad models walked around her.

At one point even adventurous Rita looked a little shocked by one of the models who was dressed in an aqua marine underwear set and stockings, with a bridal headpiece.

The Kosovo-born singer's stage outfit was in stark contrast to the outfit she was seen arriving in earlier in the day.

Opting for comfort Rita arrived in what looked like a pair of pyjama bottoms, which featured classic superhero words such as 'boom' and 'pow'.

She teamed them with an over-sized white T-shirt and large grey baseball shirt, while her hair had already been braided in preparation.

Following her brief stay in the City of Love, Rita hopped on a plane to Sydney, where she is due to perform this week.

While the busy schedule may be a bit much for most people, it has become the norm for Rita who has enjoyed a hugely successful and busy last couple of months.

However despite her crazy schedule it wasn't quite enough to secure her a win at the Brits last week.
The singer unfortunately lost out to Ben Howard for the Breakthrough Artist gong.

But Rita proved gracious in her defeat and tweeted: 'Don't worry you win some you loose some. We still killed this year!!'
