Performer Natina Reed Dead After Being Struck By A Car

Known for being member of the 90s R&B group Blaque and for her appearance in the film, “Bring it On,” singer and actress Natina Reed died after being struck by a car. She was 32. Here’s WREG with the details.

“Today would have been R&b singer Natina Reed's...(FLASH) birthday, but today friends are instead mourning her death. The singer was hit by a car as she walked along a highway in an atlanta suburb this weekend.”

E! Online reports a press release says police received a call of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle around 10:30 Friday night. Reed was pronounced dead at the hospital soon after.

“‘Preliminary information indicates that Reed was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck,’ the release continues. Though the investigation is ongoing, the release states that the driver ‘was determined to be not at fault and there are no charges pending.’”

And Twitter has been trending with tributes to the artist. Blaque member Brandi Williams tweeted...

“Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same....she was my sister.”

And QuestLove wrote...

Along with the video for Blaque's "808."

According to TMZ, Reed is survived by her 10-year-old son, Tren Brown.
