Bobby Brown charged with drink driving
BOBBY Brown could be facing a TWO-YEAR prison sentence following his arrest for drink driving earlier this week.
The New Edition singer was pulled over by police in the early hours of Wednesday morning and taken into custody when he was reportedly found to be driving erratically around Los Angeles and smelling of booze.
Bobby now faces the DUI conviction after the LA City Attorney filed charges against him for it alongside two other crimes - driving on a restricted licence and driving a vehicle without a vehicle interlock device which is used to prevent a car from starting if the driver is over the blood alcohol limit.
He also faces a probation violation for his earlier DUI charge in March this year.
If he is found guilty Bobby may well end up behind bars, but according to US gossip site TMZ this is unlikely.
Bobby was sent to rehab over the summer to receive treatment for a drug and alcohol abuse problem, just a few months after the death of ex-wife Whitney Houston due to the effects of chronic cocaine use and heart disease.
