Holly Willoughby may look like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, but the Surprise Surprise presenter has revealed she has a raunchy side by admitting to reading, and loving, the Fifty Shades Of Grey trilogy.

In an interview with Easy Living magazine, 30-year old Holly said: 'I finished the first book and thought, "this is the best thing I've ever read."'

But her praise didn't stop at the first book: 'I was completely obsessed. Literally couldn't put it down. Then I read the second, and the third... I mean, bloody hell, you learn a lot – I think every woman should read them!'

Clearly the This Morning presenter didn't heed the warning made by the last woman to sit on her sofa and talk about the 'mummy-porn' books.

Journalist Samantha Brick told Holly and Philip Schofield on the ITV show that the series - written by EL James - was damaging to the social image of women: 'It's degrading. The character is a victim. She's a virgin. She's negotiating to become the main protagonist's sex slave.'

She went on to share her concern that the S&M activities depicted in the book could lead more women to A&E: 'Without meaning to be flippant, sex games do go wrong... Hospitals are full of people who have been injured this way.

'Deaths have occurred. S&M isn't to be taken lightly.'

Light and bubbly Holly obviously didn't see the fifty shades of danger her This Morning guest referred to, but it's not surprising the mother of two had a more playful interpretation of the book.

Discussing the upcoming This Morning appearance of a man with the largest penis, the hourglass host said 'in the interests of veracity, we need to check,' his claim was correct.

Holly can make jokes as good as she can take them, something she has gotten used to from being on the panel of Keith Lemon's Celebrity Juice. Her husband Dan is best friend's with the Northern presenter - known in real life as Leigh Francis - which means she's used to her marital in-jokes being used on the show as 'nothing [Holly] says is a secret.'

One example she gives is a nickname her husband gave to her on holiday: 'I was swimming across a pool and Dan shouted at me, "Oi, Falkor" – that's the name of the flying dog in The NeverEnding Story.'

'A few months later we were on air for Celebrity Juice and Keith said, "You look exactly like that dog in The NeverEnding Story." I just knew that had come from Dan.'

'He loves getting Keith to take the piss out of me."

But for the easygoing TV presenter with the nickname 'Willoughbooby' it turns out that's the one thing she gets bored of discussing:

'I do get pretty sick of talking about my boobs.'
