The Brit beauty, 26, stars as a sex-starved psychiatric patient with a taste for masochism in the controversial drama.
Based on the play by Christopher Hampton, the film tells the tale of legendary psychiatrist Carl Jung — played by Michael Fassbender — and the disturbed Russian beauty he falls for.
In scenes that will shock her fans, Keira is whipped with a cane and spanked by Fassbender's Jung.
And Knightley channels her inner vamp for the GQ magazine shoot too — pouting in red lipstick and leather in one shot before stripping down to just a silver top and heels.

A Dangerous Method is Keira's raciest film to date — and she admitted this week that she needed alcohol to get through the sexually charged scenes on screen.
The plummy star told how she knocked back vodka before filming to build up her confidence — and then celebrated with champagne once the shot was finished.
"We had one or two shots maximum. It was a vodka shot to calm our nerves and away you go really," she told the Sunday Times.
"Then we had champagne. We drank quite a lot of champagne, actually. The vodka and the champagne was a good combination."
